About
Wondwessen Kebede
Wondwessen Kebede is a certified family nurse practitioner focused on primary care, and has been practicing since 2017. He cares for patients ages 5 and up. For Wondwessen, patient-centered, accessible care is the top priority, and he wants every person to feel heard, supported, and empowered in their health decisions. Members can expect an open, non-judgmental, and collaborative environment built on active listening. He views health as a partnership, taking time to understand each person's unique goals and values in order to co-create personalized, evidence-based care plans. The question he most hopes to hear is "What lifestyle or preventive changes can I make now to support my long-term health?" Wondwessen earned his undergraduate nursing degree from Langston University and completed his Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2017. He is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. In addition to English, he speaks Amharic. Wondwessen looks after his own health the same way he encourages his patients to, keeping a balanced routine of regular physical activity, quality sleep, and a healthy diet. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and plays in an adult soccer league.
