Travis Benzing
Dr. Travis Benzing is board-certified in cardiology and advanced cardiac imaging, and he’s dedicated to improving heart health across Central Texas. He spends time understanding the people he’s treating, helps clarify information about heart conditions, and educates them about potential health plans that can lead them to a healthier heart future. Travis specializes in non-invasive imaging techniques such as computed tomography (CT) scans and echocardiograms (echos), which help him get a detailed look at how the heart is functioning, often without the need for more invasive procedures. His goal is to use the imaging insights to create more personalized treatment plans that support long-term heart wellness. Beyond the clinic, Travis has contributed to multiple research projects focused on cardiovascular disease and advanced cardiac imaging, and he has shared his expertise as a guest lecturer at the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School. He prioritizes community service, helping launch a cardiology program at CommUnity Care to serve Austin’s underserved and uninsured populations. When he is not working with Harbor Health members, Travis stays active by running and cycling. He also enjoys fly-fishing, grilling with friends and family, and cheering on his favorite college football teams, the Clemson Tigers and the University of Texas Longhorns.
