Dr. Todd Thacker is a primary care clinician with more than 30 years of experience in both urgent care and family medicine. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to a team-based approach to health care, viewing the physician, medical staff, and the person being cared for as equal partners in every health journey. He encourages people to take an active role in their well-being, celebrating small health improvements alongside major milestones. Board certified in osteopathic family medicine, Dr. Thacker chose this path for its strong foundation in preventive care and its focus on treating the whole person, not simply addressing illness, but helping people stay healthier over the long term. As a primary care physician, he also serves as a trusted liaison between his patients and specialists, ensuring coordinated, comprehensive care. Dr. Thacker proudly served four years of active duty in the United States Air Force and 20 years in the United States Air Force Reserves, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. During his military career, he worked in flight medicine, providing primary care for pilots and their families. His service took him to many parts of the world and fostered a lasting appreciation for international travel, and he often explores new places by motorcycle. A strong advocate for daily exercise, Dr. Thacker prioritizes his own health through regular movement, including walking, running, swimming, and cycling. He believes that consistent, proactive habits are key to long-term wellness and strives to model that healthy lifestyle for people in his care.
