About

Rachelle Campbell

Rachelle Campbell, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is a doctorally prepared Family Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing since 2006. She cares for patients of all ages with a particular clinical interest in cardiovascular disease prevention. Members can expect a welcoming, respectful, and judgment-free environment where they feel heard and valued. Rachelle approaches care as a partnership: she takes time to understand not only a member's health concerns but also their goals, experiences, challenges, and what matters most to them. Together, they create a realistic plan that blends evidence-based care with the member's preferences and lifestyle, so that every member leaves feeling informed, supported, empowered, and confident in their next steps toward better health. Rachelle earned her undergraduate nursing degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and completed her nurse practitioner training at Texas Woman's University in 2005. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and serves as a Board Commissioner for the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB). Her honors include being named one of the DFW Great 100 Nurses, receiving D Magazine's Excellence in Nursing recognition, and earning nominations for both Texas Nurse Practitioner Educator of the Year and the American Heart Association's Woman of Impact. She is a member of the National League for Nursing, Texas Nurse Practitioners, and the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties. Rachelle believes her varied experience across clinical practice, education, and community service is exactly what equips her to be an expert clinician Rachelle lives what she teaches: she builds walking into every workday, lifts weights two to three times a week, centers her diet on portion control, protein, and antioxidants, protects a full eight hours of sleep, and manages stress with reading and massages. Outside of work, she loves international travel and new cultural experiences. She has children and a spouse she has been married to for over 30 years.
