Marina Vengalil
Dr. Marina Vengalil (pronounced “Ven-ga-lil”) began practicing in 1996 with a focus on internal medicine, and clinical interest in dementia and end-of-life issues. She is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, of which she is also a member. She is also board-certified in geriatric medicine. Dr. Vengalil attended medical school at Government Medical College, Kottayam, Mahatma Gandhi University in Kerala, India. She completed her residency at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, with a focus on internal medicine. She then completed a fellowship in geriatrics at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and a fellowship in behavioral neurology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook University Hospital. In addition to English, she speaks fluent Malayalam. On a personal note, she is the mother of three, and loves to dance, hike and travel with her family.
