Laura Frye
Laura Frye, MD, is an experienced physician specializing in Family Medicine. She started her practice in 1999 and has developed clinical interests in sports medicine and women's health. Dr. Frye is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Frye completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. She later attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where she obtained her medical degree. Dr. Frye completed residency with a focus on Family Medicine at Charlton Methodist in Dallas, Texas. In addition to her medical education, she holds a master’s degree in agriculture economics from Texas A & M. Dr. Frye has a notable record of volunteering. This includes being part of the Ironman World Championship Medical team from 2011 to 2022 and serving as a guide for Athletes with Disabilities at RunDisney events. She also volunteers with the medical team at RunDisney events at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. On a personal note, Dr. Frye is an active runner, swimmer, and triathlete. She also enjoys science fiction, Star Wars, Star Trek, Disney, and Hayao Miyazaki.
