Karen Stewart
Karen Stewart (pronounced “Ka ren / Stoo wurt”), MD, has been providing quality care to patients since 1998. Dr. Stewart has clinical interest in internal medicine and primary care. She treats adults. Dr. Stewart completed her undergraduate studies in biology at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus. She went on to complete her training in internal medicine at Ponce Health Sciences University in Ponce, PR. She completed her residency at Hospital Damas, also located in Ponce, PR. Fully accredited in internal medicine, Dr. Stewart is a member of the Puerto Rico Medical Association as well as the Texas Medical Association (TMA). She is also fluent in Spanish. On a personal note, Dr. Stewart enjoys spending time with her husband and children. She also appreciates road trips, hiking and traveling.
