Jennifer Simpson

Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Simpson began practicing in 2017, with a focus on family medicine and clinical interest in preventive medicine, health promotion, disease prevention, providing evidenced based care, diabetes and mental health. She’s interested in Wellness and Weight Management and Cultural Competence Care. She sees all ages of patients, from newborn to elderly. She is certified in Basic Life Support. Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Allen College in Waterloo, IA, with a Major in Nursing that focuses on academic degree in science and principles of nursing. She studied topics such as patient care technology, research, health promotion, safety and quality within the healthcare system. She also earned her Master of Science in Nursing, and Family Nurse Practitioner and Adult-Gero Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurse Association. On a personal note, Jennifer enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling around the world, being outdoors, fishing, boating, swimming, learning, playing cards, watching movies and reading a good book. She and her husband have six children and three grandsons.
