Humberto Saenz

Dr. Humberto Saenz began practicing in 2016 with a focus on family medicine, and clinical interest in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases, disease prevention, older adult care, medical management of patients with multiple and complex medical conditions, and high-quality and person-centered care. He is board-certified by the ABFM and is geriatric medicine board-certified. Dr. Saenz attended medical school at Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua, Mexico Facultad de Medicina and completed his residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center El Paso with a focus on family and community medicine. He also has a University of California San Diego Geriatric Medicine Fellowship. Dr. Saenz is a member of the AAFP and AGS. He was elected Chief Resident at TTUHSC of El Paso in 2018 and was the James D. Jett, MD Outstanding Family Medicine Resident award winner in 2019. In addition to English, Dr. Saenz speaks fluent Spanish. He would like his patients to know that he strives to provide them with high-quality, patient-centered care to prevent disease and promote their overall health and well-being. His goal is to help them maintain their independence and quality of life for as long as possible. On a personal note, he loves spending his free time with family and friends, and enjoys playing with his kids, watching a movie at home and hiking.
