Dayanara Flores
Dayanara (“Daya”) Macal Flores is a board-certified health and wellness coach who brings energy, empathy, and encouragement to every member she supports. She sees herself as a member’s “personal cheerleader” and partners closely with primary care clinicians to help individuals set and achieve meaningful lifestyle goals, whether it’s improving nutrition, managing chronic conditions, or building sustainable habits. Daya empowers members to lead their own health journeys, guiding conversations with compassion and offering practical, personalized strategies to reach their goals. With more than five years of experience in chronic condition nutrition education, including diabetes and hypertension, Daya is known for her creative, open-minded approach and her ability to celebrate every win, big or small. Her background includes work in nutrition setting in Guatemala and as a bilingual diabetes coach in Texas. She holds certifications in Lifestyle Medicine for Coaches from the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and in Mental Health First Aid USA from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. Outside of work, Daya stays active with pickleball, yoga, and Pilates, and enjoys baking wholesome treats with whole foods and less sugar.
