For Family Nurse Practitioner Cody Haines, the foundation of care is an environment of trust built through clear, honest communication. With ten years of nursing experience, including more than four as a family nurse practitioner, Cody has developed a care style that is direct, yet nurturing. He is dedicated to ensuring every person leaves the clinic feeling heard, with a good understanding of their health condition and treatment plan. While he has extensive experience in adult and geriatric medicine, he provides holistic care for ages five and older. Cody’s approach is shaped by his work in the hospital intensive care unit, which taught him the importance of helping people navigate complex conditions and risks with a realistic perspective. Whether managing chronic conditions or providing preventive care, Cody meets members where they are, collaborating on individualized plans that respect their lifestyles and personal goals. To stay grounded, Cody prioritizes sleep, nutrition, and strength training. Outside of the clinic, he is an avid traveler who loves exploring the world with his family. He enjoys getting outdoors for hikes at Central Texas spots like Pedernales Falls State Park or in the mountains of Colorado. At home, his favorite things to do include hanging out with his two rescue dogs and cooking with his family.
