Bilha Candelaria
Nurse practitioner Bilha Candelaria (pronounced “bee-lah / can-de-la-ree-ah”) is committed to the health of her patients. She started practicing in 2008 with clinical interest in newborn health, pediatrics, family health, women’s health and employee health. She is also certified to conduct Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals. Bilha earned her undergraduate degree in nursing from The University of Texas at El Paso. She obtained her master’s degree from the University of Phoenix and then completed her post-master’s work. She then went on to obtain her Doctorate degree-Doctor of nursing practice (DNP) at The University of Texas at El Paso. Bilha is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), Texas Nurse Practitioners (TNP) and is the past president of the El Paso Advanced Practice Nurses (EPAPN). She is fluent in Spanish. On a personal note, Bilha enjoys shopping, tea parties, going to hear Opera’s especially her brothers, playing volleyball, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family. Family is the core of her existence. She is excited to give back to her community and to be back in the Lower Valley.
