Important information for a smooth transition
- Booking pause: Please note that we will be unable to accept new appointment bookings for Village Medical clinics between June 27 at 5:00 PM CT through June 29 at 12:00 AM CT. We will resume full scheduling support on June 29th at HarborHealth.com.
- Create Your New Account starting June 29th: To ensure access to your health records and communication with your care team, please create your new Harbor Health account at harborhealth.com/member-portal-login. Creating your account takes about two minutes.

Why is Village Medical transitioning to Harbor Health?
Village Medical clinics in Austin, El Paso, San Antonio, and Dallas are becoming Harbor Health clinics as part of an exciting new chapter focused on delivering compassionate and connected care in our communities.When will the transition happen?
Transition timing may vary by location. Changes will start in June 2026 and continue through August 2026.Will my clinic stay open?

Many patients will continue seeing the same providers and care teams they know today. If there are any changes, we’ll communicate with you directly. No action is needed at this time unless your clinic contacts you with specific instructions. For a smooth transition, we recommend creating your Harbor Health account at: https://harborhealth.com/member-portal-login. The Harbor Health account will be available to everyone on June 29th. Will my appointments still happen?
Yes. Existing appointments will continue as scheduled. Your clinic will contact you directly if there is any change to scheduled appointments.Will I still be able to receive the same services?

- June 27th 5:00 PM CT – June 29th 12:00 AM CT: Booking support will be paused while we transition systems.
- Starting June 29th: Please book all appointments via HarborHealth.com.
What about prescriptions and refills?
Continue requesting prescription refills the same way you do today. Our clinics will contact you directly if there is any change needed for your prescription refill.Insurance and Billing
Will Harbor Health accept my insurance?
Yes. We continue to accept the same insurance plans as Village Medical. You can view the list of accepted insurances here: https://harborhealth.com/insurances-accepted
Patients are encouraged to check with their clinic or health plan for the latest information.
Will my billing process change?
Over the coming weeks, you’ll notice updated Harbor Health branding on billing statements or payment portals , but we’ll communicate any important changes clearly in advance.- For appointments before June 29th: You will receive a bill from Village Medical. Please continue to work with them regarding these balances.
- For appointments on or after June 29th: You will receive a bill from Harbor Health.
What happens to my existing balance or payment plan?

Your medical records will remain secure and confidential and will transfer as part of the transition to support uninterrupted care. We recommend creating your new Harbor Health account at https://harborhealth.com/member-portal-login to message your care team, access your health records, and book appointments easily. Yes. We will still be using Athena to support patients. We are excited to offer a Harbor Health portal that works with Athena to provide you the ability to: message your care team, view your health information, book care, and make payments.
