Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Umanzor is not afraid to ask lots of questions so she can truly get to know people in her care. Finding out about a person’s health goals and lifestyle allows her to collaborate with the person in creating a care plan that may produce the best affordable health outcomes. She strives to educate every person about health and is unapologetic about the amount of time she spends with each person in doing so. She works with adolescents, adults, and older adults. Umanzor has experience in a variety of nursing and family nurse practitioner settings including an emergency room, an addiction and recovery facility, and a practice focusing on allergies and asthma. She has special interests in caring for under served populations and college students transitioning from adolescence to adulthood. To care for herself, she takes walks outdoors, meditates, and loves dancing with her children. You may also find her reading a good book or taking photographs.
