Adiari Torres
As a Behavioral Health Care Manager, Adiari Torres is part of the Integrated Behavioral Health program at the intersection of behavioral health and primary care. She meets people where they are, helping them navigate through life moments and seasons when they feel stuck. With the use of brief intervention tools, her job is to empower people to identify barriers, formulate their own plans to overcome them, set goals, and make positive movements forward. She steps in when the health team determines behavioral health treatment may be needed to support overall health outcomes. Adiari envisions the Integrated Behavioral Health program as something for everyone, especially for those who have never had behavioral health treatment. The structure of the program allows her to conduct a thorough medical and social assessment to understand the person more holistically. She strives to create a safe environment, enabling people to feel no judgment and be the best version of themselves. Adiari tries to practice what she preaches, prioritizing sleep, exercise, and regular medical screenings. She has two rescue cats and one rescue dog, a pitbull boxer mix with loads of energy.
