Our Harbor Health Mobile Clinics make quality primary care more accessible than ever and also customizable for employers to offer the tailored on-site care their employees need. Think of them as primary care wellness clinics on wheels. We have two Mobile Clinics our health teams take out into Central Texas communities, equipped with everything needed for primary care services:
- Annual screenings
- Biometric screenings
- Vaccinations
- Point-of-care testing
- Worksite primary care
- More!
“People have very busy lives,” said Harbor Health family nurse practitioner Stephanie Morgan. “We have lots of conflicting priorities. So allowing our health team to go on-site and meet a group of people where it’s convenient for them offers them a chance to interact and be more participatory in their own care, in their own health journey, and to hopefully make better choices for a healthier lifestyle.”
Healthier Employees and Budgets
By ensuring better access to care, employers see an increased health engagement from their employees and more people completing required health screenings. Our mobile clinic team can identify health concerns early and begin addressing them immediately, which ultimately can lead to cost savings for both the employee and the employer. Our client, Shelley Loughrey, the Director of Benefits Administration for Williamson County, values the health impacts on workers and the savings in the county’s bottom line.
“If we can find an early diagnosis that can save lives, that’s the most important thing to us,” said Loughrey. “However, we can also save on healthcare costs. One health insurance claim alone the county pays can exceed what the entire Mobile Clinic initiative costs.”
Each Harbor Health Mobile Clinic is outfitted with two exam rooms, a lab, a restroom, and is wheelchair accessible. Call us for more information about our Mobile Clinics and how they remove barriers to care. (855) 481-8375
