We are proud to announce the addition of a mobile health clinic named “Bluebonnet” to meet the primary care needs of educators, school administrators, and their families in two Central Texas school districts. The new mobile health clinic was launched in the Taylor Independent School District and the Wayside Schools of Austin, visiting several school campuses. “Bluebonnet” allows our healthcare providers to meet the medical needs of people where and when they need it, improving access to care.

“Our teachers and other staff members have such busy schedules and many responsibilities, so having a primary care mobile unit here on campus gives them a better chance to see a medical provider,” said Taylor Independent School District Superintendent Dr. Devin Padavil. “We want our educators to prioritize their physical and mental health, and Harbor Health provides a way for them to do just that.”

Our providers on “Bluebonnet” treat children and adults who need typical primary care services including well-checks, vaccines, and other non-emergency appointments. The large mobile unit is outfitted with two exam rooms, a lab, and a restroom, and is wheelchair accessible. We invested approximately $1 million to further improve important healthcare access for Central Texans.

We have plans to add another medical clinic on wheels to the fleet later this year and look forward to serving additional school districts in the fall of2023. We also have clinics in Central Austin, Round Rock, and Kyle and treat both adults and children. Call us at 855-481-8375.
