Maribel Abarro is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She loves educating and encouraging people in her care about health conditions and preventive measures that promote overall wellness. As she builds a trusting relationship with people, she collaborates with them in setting health goals and planning small steps they can take that may help them reach those goals. She encourages them all along the journey. Maribel has more than 20 years of nursing experience and spent 12 years in cardiovascular nursing. She has worked in a hospital setting as well as in primary care.

Maribel thinks it is important for providers to listen and take time to ask clients about their lifestyles, so they can work on realistic ways to improve their health. She maintains her own health by frequently going to the gym with her family and spending time outdoors camping, hiking, and cycling. She manages her stress and stays connected to friends and family by spending time with them.
