Dr. Maria Nichole Perez is a Board Certified Internist and an Affiliate Faculty member of the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School. Her favorite part of her practice is the one-on-one time she spends with clients learning their stories, stresses, and social history so she can guide them on their health journeys. Her goal is to focus on holistic wellness, helping people be at their best physically, emotionally, and mentally. Dr. Perez always educates people in her care and encourages them to embrace their own health.

Dr. Perez worked in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates as director of internal medicine in a medical student training program. She also has experience working with underserved populations along the United States-Mexico border in her hometown of El Paso. Dr. Perez is a huge advocate of improving and maintaining physician wellness, because she believes if they take care of themselves, they are better able to offer top-quality care for people. She follows the same advice she gives her clients in getting regular exercise, giving herself grace, and making time for connection with family and friends.
