Dr. Kirk Middleton strives to truly get to know people in his care, and he hopes they will get to know him as well, so they create a partnership focused on healthy habits and the prevention of disease. As a primary care physician, he believes his role is to educate people about their health as much as it is to treat them. He focuses on the whole person, remembering there are physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of illness that may affect a person’s overall well-being.

Dr. Middleton served in the United States Air Force for eleven years and practiced military medicine at a variety of bases including Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan. He was the Medical Director at Lackland Air Force Base’s Reid Clinic in San Antonio, Texas.

Eating a diet full of diversity is important to Dr. Middleton, and he also cares for his own whole health by playing golf, lifting weights, spending time with family and friends who keep him laughing, and going out on date nights with his wife.
